Lisa Schnellinger is an artist and glassmaker based in Atlanta who specializes in cast and kilncarved glass forms. She owns and manages Fused Light Studio, a resource for artists offering workshops, private lessons and studio time. She produces custom glass of all types, including architectural glass, cast glass sculptures and glass for lighting fixtures. She  also incorporates elements of ceramics and photo imagery. Her previous artwork was primarily photography, part of her international career in journalism. During 25 years of work and travel in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, she observed dozens of visual cultures and assimilated them into her art.
