Event Description

The class will explore a variety of printmaking techniques including collographs, etching, chine colle and encaustic printmaking processes. Participants will use Akua water based intaglio inks to print the plates onto paper.

 

The class will also explore multi-plate printing and chine colle processes to further develop prints. While much technical information will be presented over the three days, the class focus is developing imagery. Beginners welcome and materials will be covered in the class material fee.
