Thinking about global warming and humankind's toxic imprint on the planet can be overwhelming. Despite all of the environmental changes that need to be made, the planet still has to support nearly 8 billion people. Earth does not need our species, but our species is completely dependent on Earth for survival. Earth will survive the human race, the question is: will the human race survive?
